Signet Collies is the result of over 30 years of concentrated effort to produce happy, healthy and long-lived collies. We have both rough and smooth coated collies and we are active in many facets of competition. We have dipped our toes into the Herding and Obedience rings, but while our dogs are quite capable, we find that with our time limitations, we will continue doing what we do best--raise lovely dogs with wonderful personalities and let their owners delve into whatever fields they wish. Most of our current residents are Champions or are working on their conformation titles.
Our dogs are line bred with occasional outcrosses when we need to bring in certain qualities in our quest for the perfect Collie. We believe in keeping our old dogs to live out their lives as our house pets, so if you visit us in person, you are likely to see four to six generations on the property.
